Peak of Itatins – Peruíbe
At 600 meters of altitude, the viewpoint of Pico do Itatins in Peruíbe, south coast of São Paulo has a magnificent view, it is possible to see the entire city of Peruíbe, Itanhaém, the Jureia reserve, and have a privileged view of Guaraú beach.
The trail is at an intermediate level and starts with an incline, which increases until you reach the point of some climbing on rocky walls, having to hold on to roots and branches to overcome these obstacles, always paying close attention to where to step or where to go. hold, as it is an area of closed Atlantic forest, there are many snakes and other venomous animals such as spiders.
There are approximately 2.5km of trail, which takes around 1:30h to be traversed. The best time to do the trail is between 6 am and 9 am, due to the milder temperature.
The view from the peak is fantastic, and the experience is worth every meter covered.
